Seattle, Washington is the northernmost major United States city, and it is the county seat of King County. The 2010 census displayed that Seattle had a population of 608,660 inhabitants.  Seattle is a major gateway for trade, cruises, and transportation being home to the Port of Seattle and the Seattle-Tacoma International Airport.  The city of Seattle is popular for a variety of things from the birth of rock legend Jimi Hendrix to being known for it’s coffee companies like Starbucks, Seattle’s Best Coffee, and Tully’s.  Seattle is also known for its high literacy rate with over 50% of the population aged 25 or higher holding a bachelor’s degree of higher.
